He is going to give a seminar titled Axiomatic Foundations of Centrality Measures at 12:15-13:45 in room A406 in Building Q, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Magyar tudósok körútja 2, 1117 Budapest.

Abstract: Centrality analysis, which aims at identifying the key nodes in the network, is one of the fundamental research problems in graph theory and network science. On top of the already classic centrality measures such as degree, closeness, betweenness, and eigenvector centralities, various new concepts have been recently proposed in the literature. However, such multitude of centrality measures and no clear distinction between them makes it impossible to determine which one should be used in a specific application. In my talk, I will present our recent results concerning the axiomatic characterizations of centrality measures. In additional to standard centrality measures, I will also discuss the class of centrality measures based on cooperative game theory.

[22,4,17
33,29,32
post-258","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-event","category-news","category-seminar","tag-centrality","tag-game-theory","tag-networks
["GET
